Lists

Can we take a moment to talk about lists? We love lists. It’s a quick way to communicate information without having to read full paragraphs. We all have them, and there are so many different types of lists you can make for any topic really. Where do you store your lists? Sometimes the problem is that the lists you made are not accessible when you need them. Many of us create lists and forgot where we put it, up to the point where searching for the list became a harder task than adding to the list. At this point, we would either become uninterested in adding to the list or start a new list on the same topic. Here are some examples of lists you might have floating around your phone or on your fridge:

  • Grocery list

  • Shopping list

  • Bucket list

  • Reading list

But what about the less common type of lists? Like places to visit, classes you want to take, or restaurants you hate?

Some of the most interesting lists are the ones you add to over time as you gain new experiences or get new ideas. These would fall under the category of an ideas list. Do ever think of a really great idea of something you want to do, or a great topic you want to write about while you're in the shower, but you forget about it a few minutes later? You might think that it's just a shower thought and that you’ll remember it later, but these are so easy to forget. Your ideas deserve to be written down in their own spot. Image if you wrote own every idea you had before forgetting about it. These ideas lists are so helpful when you feel inspired but are low on creativity. You can review your lists to find inspiration. Many times, some of the lists our clients made have not so great ideas, but they were never angry with themselves for writing it down in a safe place for them to review later. Reviewing your own ideas and deciding not to do them represents your own growth, and with a new perspective.

If this interests you, please contact us to manage and track some lists for you. With our support, you can text, call or email us any time just to throw a random idea at us and we will add it to a private list for you with no judgement.

However, to start off, we challenge you today to make your own lists. Write your own ideas lists for creative topics, art, business ideas or anything else you can think of. The best part is that you are a slightly different person every time you add to your list. Every time you review lists, you will have a new perspective and source of inspiration.

Sometimes you might have the same recurring idea which might be part of a bigger project you want to start. These lists are a great tool for your self reflections.

Until next time, stay balanced!
